Description
Brand new vintage stock from 1970's. Please expect tarnish marks due to age of the product. Perfectly usable stock. Used these heel and toe protectors on new handmade footwear I made. Now I do not make any more handmade shoes. Hence selling my old stock.

Instructions on how to attach heel and toe protectors:
Determine the size of the toe protector required by measuring the toe width of shoe sole
For leather soles:
Mark the holes on the sole with a pen
Pilot small holes using a drill in marked positions
Drill not available then use a sharp bradle awl to pilot the holes
Water brush the toe section
Place the toe protector in the marked position
By hand drive 2 nails at either end
Adjust till it is in position
Drive the 2 nail in position by hand
Hold the shoe firm in hand and using a hammer gently tap the nails in
Once all the nails driven then hammer again to ensure it firmly secured
For rubber soles or similar:
Follow above instructions but water brush not required
