    Description

How to Conduct a Radio Club by E. B. Bucher (Marconi engineer)
7 x 10 inch softcover book. Marconi Publishing Co. 128 pages plus addenda on National Amateur Radio Association.
This is an interesting book because it is a very early introduction to what became amateur radio. It was published just before the USA entered WWI and shut down all amateur radio so it represents a relatively scarce book describing radio transmission and reception prior to the use of vacuum tubes. (Although it does discuss them.) See the table of contents for details. (nice detail in the T of C). It does describe construction of a non tube receiver and  a transmitter.
There are not a lot of copies of this book on the internet. There is a repro copy for . and a Fair copy of the 1917 edition for .  I'm going to put this copy up for .95 but may up the price a bit if it doesn't sell right away. This is kind of a must for anyone interested in the early history of Amateur Radio or Wireless..
