This is a very nice used OEM mirror that I removed from my ’68 442 many years ago. The car was a low mile Dry Western original and the mirror did not need to be replaced but I found a NOS pair at a swap meet.
Description;
Excellent Glass with NO CRACKS,
NO Clouding and one 3/8’s inch scratch.
Chrome on the Head is VERY NICE with a couple of minor bubbles and some more on the bottom side, out of sight, around the Adjustment Ball.
Chrome on the Mounting Stand Is excellent.
Is this part perfect?
Of course not, it is a 52 year old used part.
This is a
used original METAL, OEM General Motors part.
YES, the Made In China Reproductions are cheaper in price but are not identical, don’t fit properly and deteriorate quickly. In short they simply are NOT correct and look sleazy.
You can tramp swap meets and junkyards until your
