Antique Set of Tiffin Gold Encrusted Wine Goblets - Set of 8
This is an amazing beautiful set of gold encrusted wine goblets from my Mother’s home. In our photos, we are showing them used for her birthday party as red wine glasses – each one placed beside a French St. Louis water glass. Each glass measures 6” tall & almost 3” in diameter. This lovely set of antique gold-plated small wine glasses was made in Tiffin, Ohio.
Tiffin glassworks opened in the late 1800’s & operated well into the 1900’s. It was known as “America’s Prestige Crystal” producing high-end sophisticated patterns for the turn-of-the-century customers who wanted the best. They were especially famous for their beautiful stemware in the manner of the great French glass makers of Europe. This set has been wrapped away in storage & is in excellent antique condition. The pattern is a scrolled floral design – yielding an elegant & sophisticated look. They are in excellent antique condition.
