I buy a lot from a well known refiner, and all the pieces I get from him are tested and guaranteed to be solid silver, from 800 to 950, and this tested in the 925 range, so I think might be 900 silver.
I looked everywhere on it for a mark, but I see none. t fiorst I thought Persian, but they are always marked. It has either a Middle Eatern style or mauybe Asian, as in japan, and could be very old 950 Japan, as well.
It measures a drop over 8" in diameter, and 2 & 1/4" high, and weighs a solid 264.8 grams in total weight. It has a cool wavy edge design, and it is engraved on every square mm of the top and the footed part. You can see the converse hammering marks on the back. It is mostly Maple leaf designs to the engravings.
I do not polish any silver items, as I have found that the majority of buyers prefer the original patina, left intact.
I will always combine shipping on purchases of multiple items.
Please note that any item that is altered in any way after urchase, whether buy the buyer or by the seller, it can not be returned under any circumstances. This means that I you shorten a bracelet, or resize a ring, I Will not take it back. Please be sure you want what you have bought, before you change it in any way.
