Very Rare Nice Condition CKVN Top 30 #12 List from July 3 1970. The #1 song is "Are You Ready" by Pacific Gas & Electric Company, #1 Album is "Self Portrait" by Bob Dylan. The lists, after the first one, were all the same size- 3 1/2" wide by 7" tall.
On the cover of this one, is the one and only J.B. Shane(Shayne)aka Captain Midnight, Reverend Rock and many more. I worked the Graveyard shift just to listen to him. Another Canadian Superstar and Legend in the Lower Mainland.

A little about this Top 30 List-CKVN 1410 was CFUN for many years. In 1968-9 they changed their name and format to a 24 hour News Station, which is why the name had VN=Vancouver News. In April 1970 they went to an FM style format, with music sweeps, and playing a more Album style of music. They had the best announcers, and were just starting to break even, when their owner from Quebec, decided to change the format once again.
The Station went back to being called CFUN a few years later, going from talk radio, to music and everything else under the sun. Their offices were on 4th Avenue, right around where the Hippies lived. It was a great station that was too far ahead of the times.
