I was an east coast kid in Vah Beach (Virginia Beach) in the late 80's when I discovered reggae.
We were blue collar beach rats, every race and creed, who just wanted to surf, boogie and skate all day. For some context, Pharrell is from VB. Even if you're not down with his stuff (N*E*R*D was DOPE) he's a perfect example of how natural it was for us to mash up rock, reggae, skateboarding and hip hop.
And THEN... we discovered Bad Brains "Banned in DC" and that was it. MIND. BLOWN. We could express our
destroy Babylon teenage rage

our chill

vibes.
Bad Brains are nothing less than OG pioneers.

Everything in this element collection is sick. This Selector vinyl inspired deck has a record with actual textured, raised grooves on the deck. Like I said, sick.
