    Description

    Up for auction is this New York Central System Summer Hat, most likely made by M.H. Grossman, Inc., with NYC Brakeman's Hat Badge (with blue enamel) and NYC silver-tone Side Buttons. The hat has caning on the inside (to keep your head cool in the summer). The silver-tone-and-blue-enamel hat badge is in like-new condition, as are the side buttons. The brim of the hat in photo 1 shows the reflection of the hat badge; the brim is in perfect condition.
    SIZE: Circumference of inside of hat measures about 22 3/4", which should be a hat size of 7 1/4" (Tag with hat size is missing.)
