I received one as a gift (as requested) and I LOVE it! I work a lot with my hands in the medical field and constantly wash my hands so they become very dry and achy by the end of the day. With this paraffin wax bath, I'm able to treat my hands at home almost every night without having to go to the salon. It helps moisturize and sooth my achy joints and I always recommend it to my coworkers who have the same issues. The product worked so well that I purchased one for my dad and he loves it! Both my dad and I have medium-sized hands and we are both able to fully submerge our hands into the bath without any sizing issues. I recently had cracked heels and used the bath for that as well. The only issue is I'm not able to fit my foot into the bath so I just submerged the heel part and it worked well. Definitely recommend for those with small to medium hands!
I love this! I've had mine for awhile and it continues to work with no problems. Caution!! It does get hot! The bottom will be very hot. I usually let the wax melt; takes about two hours. When it is all melted I turn it OFF for a few minutes before dipping. I can do about half my foot in on dip so I just adjust angles going in until covered. Same with my hands, I like to get my wrists too so I just have to adjust the angle to get my wrists in. I usually dip everything, let the wax cool on my hands and feet, let the wax melt again, and then repeat the dipping process. I used the plastic gloves over my waxed hands and feet once. The wax sets so quickly on hands and feet that dripping isn't a problem and since I always dip a second time I feel like I didn't lose any benefit by not covering with the plastic gloves.
I was hesitant based off of the poor reviews however I’m glad I purchased this. To address the reviewers who mentioned the hot temperature, an easy fix is to turn it off and let it sit for 5-10 min or more depending on your heat preference, it’s really not that big of a deal to do. I think the wax has a pleasant smell and I’ve been able to reuse it although I’ll be ordering a fresh batch soon. Overall this was a great purchase and has been a lifesaver for my joint pain.
