    Description

    The PCA-1271 Self-Blocking Pulley with Aluminum Side Plates is primarily used for rescue operations with the Portable Winch, but it can find great use in forestry, hunting, and other industrial applications. It has a unique brake cam system that allows a rope to go through freely in one direction, while blocking it in another direction. The spring-loaded cam can disengage by simply pulling the release cord.
    Its 2 7/16" diameter aluminum sheave is mounted on self-lubricating bushings and stainless steel axle.
    You can use this PCA-1271 as a typical pulley. Just lock the brake cam in the open position using the included pin. You can also use the PCA-1701 or PCA-1702 Steel Locking Carabiner (sold separately) to attach to the PCA-1271.
