The Protomad offers protection against wear and tear from everyday handling and cleaning. (It is totally Cavicide resistant.) The Protomad is made of a medical-grade Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) formulated and tested to be resistant to most chemical disinfectants. Also, the Protomad is designed to absorb the repeated minor shocks incurred in normal usage (not for drop protection.) A Protomad is a small investment for peace of mind in knowing that interruptions to the full range of services you provide will be minimized due to costly and time consuming preventable repairs of your Nomad® Pro X-ray units.
