RARE Antique Conductor /Train Engineer Hat, NAMED, LIRR President Long Island RR

This is an absolutely fantastic and extremely RARE circa 1900 Conductor /Train Engineer hat NAMED to
President of the Long Island Railroad, (LIRR) William F. Potter
. The interior of the cap is named to him in 3 separate locations - on the crown, behind the front of the sweatband, and hand-signed on the interior-right of the sweat band. He was also a member of the family of Pvt George W. Potter, a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. This is a very cool piece of Railroadiana.
