CORRECT

Competitor mirrors are coming with an incorrect sheetmetal screw.
NOTE:
This mirror comes with a set of two
CORRECT
mounting screws in the
correct thread, length, and head size
. They fit both the mirror base AND either the machine nutsert mounted in the door for '73 models or the retaining plate inside the door for '74 models. Beware of other incorrect mounting setups on the market that have a head size that won't fit down into the recess of the mirrors and can damage the mirror! These have been custom built for us to match an original screw shown in the pictures above. Replacement for the factory 187709 screw used for 70-74 E Body and 71-74 B Body.
