Long Playing 33 1/3 rpm  records from 1949 into the 1980s and beyond.  The catalog was published monthly and included new releases and currently available records in the USA.  Classical recordings listed in alphabetical order by composer and title for and primarily by artist for other music categories.  It also published a series of Artist Issues, at least 17 volumes between 1953 and 1990, which listed Classical records by artist instead of by composer and title.  Starting in the 1960s it also published more or less semi-annual supplemental catalogs listing imported records, and later mono recordings and various other recordings that were eliminated over the years from the regular monthly catalog but still in print.
