NOTE:  I collect Schwann Catalogs from the early 1950s through the 1980s, but I also have been downsizing the collection, and have more issues for some years than I feel I really need to keep in the collection.  They aren't duplicates, like the ones in my ebay listings, but if you need particular issues, I may be willing to sell some non-duplicate issues.  If you need some specific issues, click on "Contact Seller" in the upper right corner of this listing and tell me what you are looking for.  I'll look at what I have and make you an offer if I have some you want; if I don't have any of your wants available, I'll let you know that, too.  Buying several catalogs at the same time greatly reduces shipping costs, and I can make a special listing and send you a link.

Long Playing 33 1/3 rpm  records from 1949 into the 1980s and beyond.  The catalog was published monthly and included new releases and currently available records in the USA.  Classical recordings were listed in alphabetical order by composer and title and primarily by artist for other music categories.  It also published a series of Artist Issues, at least 17 volumes between 1953 and 1990, which listed Classical records by artist instead of by composer and title.  Starting in the 1960s it also published more or less semi-annual supplemental catalogs listing imported records, and later, mono recordings and various other recordings that were eliminated over the years from the regular monthly catalog but still in print.
Shipping is in the USA.  If you win several catalogs, please ask for a combined invoice I will combine shipping and send an invoice with reduced shipping charges.  If you don’t ask for a combined invoice and just pay for all winning bids together with multiple shipping charges, I will still ship them together and issue a partial refund, but ebay charges me higher fees that way, so the refund will be smaller.  Free local pickup can also be arranged if you are willing to drive to the Catonsville Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library.

I have a collection of Schwann Catalogs and I have been looking for a long time for the September, 1958 issue. I am also looking for the February and April 1958 issues but those are lower priority.  Those are the only issues between 1958 and 1981 I have never had in my collection.  To get them I would be happy to buy them, or if you have a want list, I would even be willing to sell some issues that are in my collection.  In fact I would be happy to get scans of the New Listings and Stereo New Listing from
the February, April, and
September
, 1958 issues if you have them but don't want to part with the actual issues.  Issues in my collection might also be available for sale if you are trying to fill in specific holes in your collection, but if they are from my collection, I would ask higher prices than the prices on the ones listed on ebay.
