    Description

    Sirene, wooden model ship kit of a mid-18th century French frigate.
    This 30-gun French frigate is famous because of its designer, the well-known naval architect Fredrik Chapman. In addition to the drawings, all the calculations relating to the construction and the hydrodynamic resistance of the vessel are provided in Chapman’s “Architectura Navalis Mercatoria”, published in Stockholm in 1768. The Pre-cut frame parts, fittings in wood and cast metal, and the detailed and clear plans and instructions allow even those who are not experts to build a faithful reproduction of this beautiful ship with our kit, which is based on Chapman’s drawings.
    While this kit comes with detailed instructions, it is recommended for the advanced builder.
