Antique Sommelier Tastevin Porringer Wine Tasting Cup made with two silver coins, a 1736 Italian States Sicily 4 Tari coin and a 1808 Carolus IIII 8 Reales coin. The bowl itself measures about 4" wide and 1 1/2" high, the measurements with the handle makes it about 5" wide and 2 1/2" tall. It is in absolutely beautiful condition. It cup weighs 3.1 oz. The coins are silver, I could find no silver markings on the cup itself, it is probably sterling silver but without the mark, I can't be sure.
