    Description

    THE LONG PLAYER February, 1957,
competitor, similar to Schwann catalog.  Classical
THE LONG PLAYER was a competitor to the Schwann catalog that was published by Sam Goody record stores.  It was similar to the Schwann catalog but apparently published a classical catalog some months and “Jazz ’n’ Pops” in other months.  I have 3 classical and 1 Jazz ’n’ Pops available in separate Auctions.  The first picture is for this auction.  Other pictures are for other listings.
NOTE:  I collect Schwann Catalogs from the early 1950s through the 1980s, but I also have been downsizing the collection, and have more issues for some years than I feel I really need in the collection.  They aren't duplicates, like the ones in my ebay listings, but if you need particular issues, I may be willing to sell some non-duplicate issues.  If you need some specific issues, click on "Contact Seller" in the upper right corner of this listing and tell me what you are looking for.  I'll look at what I have and make you an offer if I have some you want; if I don't have any of your wants available, I'll let you know that, too.  Buying several catalogs at the same time greatly reduces shipping costs, and I can make a special listing and send you a link.
Shipping is in the USA.  If you win several catalogs and ask for a combined invoice I will combine shipping and send an invoice with reduced shipping charges.  If you don’t ask for a combined invoice and just pay for all winning bids together with multiple shipping charges, I will still ship them together and issue a partial refund.
