pinback button.
I
t measures approx 2.25
inches
from side to side
and
features a white background with
red and blue printing.
Multi shell pressed construction
with metal
b
ack
and
spring pin. This pin was not
mass produced because it has Badge-A-Minit stamped on the back. There were probably only enough to
cover the event made. No other makers marks. At the bottom, at the left of the tower is : "2002 D.C.I.  # 1
OF 8".
In very good used condition with minimal marks commensurate of a 20+ year old button. Some
foxing on the left side. (Could be catsup stains?)
No large
scratches, creases or image loss. There is one
dent/ding in the lower half of the tower. Great color and
printing. Minor darkening from handling on the
back. See pics.
Collinsville, ILL, Home of the world's biggest catsup bottle (a specially painted water tower) is also home to
the
Collinsville Catsup Bottle Summerfest. An event that started in 1997 as
Catsup Bottle Appreciation Day.
Like most summerfests, it is a carnival atmosphere, but with various catsupy events. All along Route 66.
