    VINTAGE JAR WALKER’S PURE CLOVER HONEY 3 # 8 OZ WALKER APIARIES MILFORD, MI
    This vintage jar originally held 3 lbs 8 oz of Walkers Pure Clover Honey from Walker Apiaries in Milford, Michigan. The glass is clear and clean and molded to resemble a beehive. Each side of the glass has a large bee impressed on it. The original dark green metal lid is on it. The jar measures 8-1/2” tall x 6” at the widest part and 2-7/8” deep. The base measures 4-1/4” x 2-7/8”. The full-color label is in good condition with one small stain and measures 4-1/4” x 3-1/4”. It shows a date of 1948 and I believe the jar was marketed in the late 1940’s to early 1950’s. The lid has some scratches in the green paint. The bottom of the jar reads “Armstrong “, embossed in the glass. If you’re a honey collector or a Milford collector, this is a great find. The company has been in business for many years and still produces honey a few miles away from Milford. Let me know if you have any questions or need more pictures.
