    Description

    For your consideration is this vintage Mellins Food bottle with tin twist off cover.  The bottle itself is in excellent used condition with no chips or cracks.  The tin cover has some surface rust. The worn label on the bottle reads "R.E. Longtin, Druggist, Cassia Buds".  The raised lettering on the bottle notes "Mellin's Food Co., Boston, U.S., Large Size". Original use could have been for baby food. The bottle is 6 1/4" in height and 3" in width.  The uses are endless.
