Vintage Railroad "Conductor" Cap Visor
This piece is pre-owned/used.
It was actually used on the railroad, so it obviously shows a certain degree of "wear."  There are very small areas of stains but no rips. The "Conductor" badge/plate does have some wear also on both sides. Please review pictures for condition.
The pins on the side secure a heavy gold cording.
There are no specific railroad markings.
The tag indicates a maker's mark of United Hatters Cap & Millinery Wkrs Int Union. The tag also has a production number which dates the cap as early as 1934, according to research.
Tag On The Inside Indicates size M. From front to back, the cap measures 7 1/2in.
