    Description

    For sale is a X-ray transformer extracted from a working dental X-ray machine. It requires an input of 0 - 120 V AC and has an output of 80 kV at 20 mA (perfect for fusors and X-ray tubes). This transformer needs a proper current limiting ballast and should be controlled by a variac. It also MUST be immersed in mineral oil when operating or else it will self destruct! To prevent arcing between the coils, pull a vacuum on the mineral oil to remove any residual air bubbles.
    Do NOT purchase this transformer if you are inexperienced with high voltage electronics or X-ray transformers.
