Mobile Lead Porta-Shields are a convenient and effective way to quickly provide radiation protection to personnel or patients. Porta-Shields sit on a heavy duty, five caster base. The base offers a sturdy 24-inch diameter, to ensure smooth and stable transportation around the room. These shields come in three parts, for quick and easy assembly. The adjustable telescoping hole allows the shield height to be set by the user. The top of the shield can be as low as 36 inches, or as high as 60 inches. Mobile Lead Porta-Shields have 0.5mm lead equivalency, which meets industry standards for medical x-ray protection. They are a simple and effective product to have in any room where radiation protection is needed.
